Randomly browsing online, I saw this personality test – F-Scale to test the fascist tendencies in a person. Interested, I took it and it turned out that I am one of those sane people with a score of 3.56, with 1 being absolute whiner and 6 being absolute fascist.

This test was composed by Theodor Adorno in 1947 and aims to identify how reactionary a person is –  it’s a divide between apathy and want for change. The score is an average of the number of questions you attempted but the main drawback is that your answers are modelled upon the society around you. Take, for example, you are in Iraq. You want a responsible government. You are in Britain. You don’t care about your government, but the benefits you are having.

Below are the questions(with my score in the side).

Scoring –

1 – Disagree Strongly
6 – Agree Strongly

Looks like this is superseded by something called Right Wing Authoritarianism Scale, which I will look into sometime later.
