The whole world complains over India’s electronic illiteracy. The factors for that are many. But, one prominent factor is the cost of availability of the services. Below table depicts the situation in the ten biggest economies of the world. I have considered the cost of a Macbook Air, iPhone 6 and the cost of Mbps internet as a spin off of Big Mac Burger Index. Though the internet costs are slightly older and I have used high end gadgets, the inference is clearly visible – India has got much to advance to make the costs accessible – either low cost or high per capita income.
