Looking at their titles, they can be classified as

1.       Those which they gave themselves like 108 Sris of Mewar and any of those in Sanskrit

2.       Those which their suzerains gave to them. Generally, they are Persian titles for Hindu Kingdoms like Mukhtar ul-Mulk of Gwalior

3.       Those given by the British or those which they gave themselves for being on good terms with the British – Fidvi-i-Hazrat-i-Malika-i-Mua’zzama-i-Rafi-ud-Darja-i-Inglistan

4.       British military and aristocratic honours – Lt Gen, GCSI etc

5.       While those like Holkar shed their titles which they acquired in the past(for example, Yeswant Rao Holkar was granted Maharajadhiraj Raj Rajeshwar Alija Bahadur by the Mughal Emperor), none gave those like Mysore any.

The name of the ruler is highlighted in bold somewhere in the middle.
